Ambitious Cahill wants big move
Ambitious Bolton defender Gary Cahill has admitted he would love to secure a multi-million pound move to one of the Premier League big boys.
His stock has risen even further after being propelled into the England set up by Fabio Capello, who handed the former Aston Villa man his full international debut in September.
Now Cahill has set his sights on joining a club which challenges for trophies on a regular basis.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, he said: "I'm an ambitious lad who wants to play at the top of my game. Who knows what the future holds?
"At this minute I am concentrating on playing well for Bolton but hopefully I will play for a top club one day."
His comments will alert the string of top clubs, including Manchester United and Liverpool, who have been linked with his services.
Cahill added: "It's flattering that teams are looking at you but you have to keep performing well."
