Amaya joins Real Betis

The 28-year-old centre-back arrived at the DW Stadium in the summer of 2009 but failed to make a Premier League appearance, playing just three cup matches. Amaya was loaned back to Rayo Vallecano, from where he was signed, last season and has now made a permanent switch to La Liga with Betis.
