Adu scores second goal in Greece

Freddy Adu scored his second goal in two games, sending his new club Aris Thessaloniki to the semifinals of the Greek Cup.

Adu scored off a pass from Toni Calvo in the 23rd minute as Aris beat Xanthi 3-0 win Wednesday. Javier Campora and Sergio Koke got the other goals.

Adu scored his first Greek goal Sunday, helping Aris to a 2-1 comeback win over visiting Ergotelis. He was loaned to Aris June from Portugal's Benfica to join fellow American Eddie Johnson at the Greek club.

The 20-year-old American forward is hoping to be called in for the United States' March 3 exhibition at the Netherlands, the final match before U.S. coach Bob Bradley picks his World Cup roster.
