Zimbabwe wins toss, elects to bat against Scotland

NAGPUR, India (AP) Zimbabwe captain Hamilton Masakadza won the toss and elected to bat in the first round Group B match against Scotland at the World Twenty20 on Thursday.

Zimbabwe won its opening game against Hong Kong while Scotland is still searching for the first win in its third World Twenty20 after losing to Afghanistan on Tuesday.

Scotland, which was beaten by 14 runs in the first match, brought in offspinner Michael Leask in place of Calum MacLeod in a must-win game. Zimbabwe retained the same playing XI which beat Hong Kong by 14 runs.

The top team from the group will qualify for the Super 10 stage, starting next week.
