Wolves' Wiggins nearly throws down 720-degree dunk

Minnesota Timberwolves star Andrew Wiggins is skipping the Olympics to prepare for the 2016-17 season, and hopefully the NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

Wiggins can be seen attempting a 720-degree dunk in a video posted to Twitter and Instagram, completing (nearly) two full rotations before losing the ball at the last second.

LaVine has won the last two slam dunk contests, but if Wiggins can get that last rotation down and stick the landing, well ... he might not win a third.
