Wisconsin-Miami (Ohio) pregame notes

Here are some notes, tidbits and stats heading for Saturday's game between the Wisconsin Badgers and Miami (Ohio) RedHawks:

-- This is the first meeting between Wisconsin and Miami (Ohio).

-- This is the eighth time in the last eight years the Badgers have played a Mid-American Conference school. Overall, Wisconsin is 30-2 against teams currently in the MAC (both losses came in 1988).

-- Wisconsin has won 19 straight home openers. The last defeat was a 43-7 loss to Colorado in 1995.

-- Wisconsin has won 32 consecutive non-conference home games and overall is 68-7 at Camp Randall Stadium since the beginning of the 2004 season.

-- Miami (Ohio) has lost 17 straight games on the road and 11 consecutive games vs. Big Ten opponents.

-- The Badgers have had 23 100-yard rushers against MAC teams with a high of 258 by Brian Calhoun vs. Bowling Green in 2005.

-- Wisconsin has had seven 200-yard passers against MAC teams including two with over 300: Russell Wilson, 347 vs. Northern Illinois in 2011 and Tyler Donovan, 307 vs. Buffalo in 2006.

-- Wisconsin has had five 100-yard receivers vs. MAC teams with a high of 214 by Lee Evans against Akron in 2003.

-- A Badgers tight end hasn't had a 100-yard receiving game since Lance Kendricks did it in back-to-back weeks in 2010 vs. Arizona State on Sept. 18 and Austin Peay on Sept. 25, a 65-game drought.

-- Corey Clement needs 198 rushing yards to tie and 199 to pass Dave Mohapp for 20th place and 202 to tie and 203 to pass Larry Canada for 19th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Stave's next win as starting quarterback will be his 22nd, breaking a tie with Scott Tolzien for 5th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Stave needs 96 passing yards to pass Scott Tolzien for 4th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Stave needs 1 pass completion to pass Brooks Bollinger for 3rd place on UW's all-time list.

-- Stave needs 12 pass attempts to pass Mike Samuel for 5th place and 15 to pass Randy Wright for 4th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Alex Erickson needs 75 receiving yards to pass Luke Swan for 25th place, 77 to pass Isaac Anderson for 24th place and 106 to pass David Gilreath on UW's all-time list.

-- Gaglianone needs one more 50+-yard field goal to join Taylor Mehlhaff and Philip Welch as the only to have three FGs from 50+ in Wisconsin history (Mehlhaff 52, 51, 51; Welch 57, 52, 50; Gaglianone 51, 50).
