Wild's Tuch, Mitchell recalled, Brodin to IR

The Minnesota Wild have recalled Alex Tuch and Zack Mitchell from the American Hockey League and have placed defenseman Jonas Brodin on the Injured Reserve after he suffered a fractured finger on Jan. 17. The team also placed forward Tyler Graovac on waivers to make room on the 23-man roster.

Brodin is expected to make his return from the IR later next week.

Both Tuch and Mitchell made their NHL debuts this season. Mitchell has played in 10 games since his debut on Nov. 10 and has yet to record his first NHL point. He has tallied eight goals and six assists for the Iowa Wild in 39 AHL games this season.

Tuch has played in three games for the Wild this season, and like Mitchell, is looking for his first career NHL point. The 2014 first-round pick is second on the Iowa Wild this season with 25 points and ranks first on the team with a plus-10 rating.

Graovac recorded six goals in 45 games in a Wild uniform this season. It is unclear whether he will clear waivers or not.
