Wild sign prospect, WHL scorer Lang

The Minnesota Wild have signed former sixth-round pick Chase Lang to a three-year, entry level contract.

The 19-year-old forward led the WHL's Vancouver Giants in scoring last season with 63 points and ranked second on the team with 27 goals.

Lang also picked up three points 11 games with the Iowa Wild once the Giants' season ended.

Originally selected 167th overall in the 2014 NHL Draft, Lang had 155 points in 244 career WHL games split between Vancouver and the Calgary Hitmen.
