Wild send Schroeder to AHL, recall Folin
The Minnesota Wild have recalled defenseman Christian Folin from the AHL's Iowa Wild, while returning forward Jordan Schroeder to Iowa via waivers.
Schroeder was a healthy scratch following the return of winger Zach Parise on Friday against Winnipeg, before being placed on waivers on Sunday.
A 24-year-old defenseman out of Sweden, Folin spent two year's with the University of Massachusets Lowell, before signing with Minnesota in 2014.
The 6-foot-4 defender made his NHL debut on April 10, 2014, and has logged two assists and nine penalty minutes in 14 games with Minnesota this season.
Meanwhile, Schroeder has posted one goal and 11 shots in 11 games with the big club this season.
