Wild recall St. Paul native Alex Stalock

St. Paul native and Minnesota Duluth product Alex Stalock is coming home.

The Minnesota Wild recalled Stalock on Wednesday ahead of a Thursday matchup with the Ottawa Senators.

It's unclear what Stalock's role with be the Wild, but backup Darcy Kuemper has struggled recently, and has a a save percentage of just .870 in his last three appearances.

Stalock ranks eighth in the AHL with a .924 save percentage and 12th with 2.31 goals-against average.

A fourth-round pick of the San Jose Sharks in 2005, Stalock made 62 appearances for the Sharks, registering a .911 save percentage.

Stalock played for Minnesota Duluth from 2006-2009.
