Wild reassigns Schroeder to Iowa

Minnesota Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher on Saturday announced that his club has reassigned forward Jordan Schroeder to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League.

Schroeder, 25, was recalled under emergency circumstances on Friday and skated 9 minutes, 34 seconds and was a plus-1 in Minnesota's 3-2 win over St. Louis on Saturday night.

Schroeder tallied eight points in 25 games with Minnesota last season and had 28 points in 35 contests with Iowa. The 5-foot-9, 184-pound native of Lakeville also skated in three playoff games with Minnesota.

He has 23 points in 82 career NHL contests, between time spent with Vancouver and Minnesota.
