What Schilling's ankle looked like at infamous bloody sock game
Even though it's been 10 years since then-Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling won an American League Championship Series game against the Yankees with an injured ankle, he's still trying to prove to people that the injury was 100 percent legit.
Some have speculated that the right-hander exaggerated the injury and put ketchup on his sock. For others, it was hard to believe that a pitcher could perform at the level Schilling did on Oct. 19, 2004, with that kind of serious injury.
That idea still does not sit well with Schilling, who posted this graphic photo on Twitter Wednesday.
Found this in an old folder, for all you ketchup dinks.. pic.twitter.com/DuJiCQfE9M
