Well Wishes & Support Pour In For Brian Vickers

Brian Vickers will miss the remainder of the 2013 season for medical issues.

Monday afternoon it was announced Brian Vickers would miss the remainder of the 2013 NASCAR season after doctors discovered a small blood clot in the 29-year-old's right calf.

This is the second time in his career that Vickers has had to take a leave of absence due to medical reasons. Doctors first discovered blood clots in Vickers' system while racing for Red Bull Racing in 2010. He would return to the cockpit and compete for the team for the full season in 2011.

Immediately after the announcement, well wishes and support for Vickers flowed on the NASCAR Twittersphere.
