Week 5 Fantasy Football DraftKings Contest and Suggestions

Congratulations to "limonrm" for winning the Week 4 DraftKings contest. They rostered three of the five suggestions from our piece last week (Jordan Howard, Terrelle Pryor Sr., and the Broncos D/ST). Steve Smith Sr. was the leading scorer in the entry. His 28.1 DK points were aided by a 52-yard touchdown against the Raiders on Sunday.

If you would like to compete against the FOX Sports fantasy experts, among others, here is the link to join the $2 contest.

Now, for the Week 5 suggestions...

QB: Tom Brady, Patriots ($7,500)

He's baaack! After serving a four-game suspension, Brady returns for New England and look who's on the schedule for Week 5: Cleveland. The Browns have allowed three touchdown passes in back-to-back games (Ryan Tannehill and Kirk Cousins). I wouldn't be surprised if Brady threw for 400 yards. However, knowing Belichek, I could also see them running with LeGarrette Blount all day just to mess with us.

RB: Isaiah Crowell, Browns ($4,800)

Hue Jackson said that the offense would try to feed the Crow more and they've followed through. Crowell has scored at least 24 DK points in two of the past three games. He's also scored a touchdown in three out of four games this season. Cody Kessler also involved Crowell more in the passing game last week. Crowell received four targets against Washington in Week 4.

WR: Robert Woods, Bills ($3,900)

It's not a sexy selection, but his price tag gives you the option to afford bigger names. Without Sammy Watkins, Woods is the No. 1 receiver for Buffalo. In Week 4, Woods was targeted 10 times and caught seven passes for 89 yards. His opponent this week, Los Angeles, has allowed three receivers to reach the 100-yard mark in the past two games (Mike Evans, Adam Humphries, and John Brown).

TE: Zach Ertz, Eagles ($3,500)

Generally, rookie quarterbacks use their TE as a security blanket in their first season (see Marcus Mariota). In Week 1, Carson Wentz went to Ertz seven times before his injury. Ertz ended the day with six receptions for 58 yards. Now, he's medically cleared to play and will likely get the start against the Lions. Detroit has allowed the opposing tight end to score every week this season. The cheap price on Ertz doesn't hurt, either.

D/ST: Eagles ($2,900)

The only thing more impressive than Carson Wentz's play at QB has been the way the defense is playing for Philadelphia. The Eagles have scored at least 10 DK points in each game this season. In Week 3, they held Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers to only three points. Plus, Philly is coming off of a bye week, so they'll be refreshed for this one.
