Week 22: Fantasy Baseball Two-Start Streaming Pitchers

Probable two-start pitchers:

Streaming pitchers to start:

Mike Leake, SF (@ ARI, vs. SD) – Since joining the Giants, Leake has allowed two earned runs or less in three out of four games. He will get one start at AT&T Park this week. In his career, Leake is 4-0 with a 3.11 ERA in 37.2 innings of work in San Francisco. Leake is available in 61 percent of FOX Sports fantasy baseball leagues.

Jonathon Niese, NYM (@ WAS, @ ATL) – Niese, who is only owned in 11.1 percent of FS leagues, has been roughed up in his last three outings. He has allowed at least five earned runs in those contests. However, Niese gets some favorable matchups this week. The Nationals have struck out 69 times in the past week (third-most). Atlanta has scored 19 runs in the last seven days (worst in baseball).

Aaron Harang, PHI (vs. ATL, vs. CHC) – In deeper leagues, Harang could be a decent surprise. He will also face the struggling Braves. This season, Harang is 2-0 against Atlanta with a 0.95 ERA. His other opponent, the Cubs, have struck out 71 times in the past week (most in baseball).

Thanks, but no thanks:

Randy Wolf, DET (vs.  TB, @ CLE) – Remember when Detroit had David Price and Max Scherzer last year? Now, 39-year-old, Wolf will get two spins in the rotation for the Tigers in September. “Buzz, your girlfriend. Wolf.” (Editor’s note: I know, he actually says “woof”). In his last outing, Wolf allowed eight earned runs.

Colin Rea, SD (vs. COL, @ SF) – His first opponent, Colorado, has scored 46 runs in the past week (third-most). Rea’s second start is on the road. In his only away game of the season, Rea allowed four earned runs against the Phillies.
