Week 15 DFS DraftKings contest and suggestions

Before we get to the Week 15 DFS suggestions, let's take a second to congratulate last week's winner: "walker909." They posted 201.84 points and had Le'Veon Bell (54.8), T.Y. Hilton (29.5), and Jeremy Hill (26.2) as the key contributors in their lineup.

QB: Tyrod Taylor, Bills ($5,700)

Any quarterback facing this Browns defense shouldn't be the 15th-most expensive option in the player pool. Taylor has scored at least 16.3 DK points in two of the past three games and is listed at a bargain for Week 15. This season, Cleveland is allowing the second-most points to opposing quarterbacks and has allowed at least two passing TDs in four of the past five games.

RB: Devonta Freeman, Falcons ($6,700)

This is where you're going to want to spend your DFS bucks this week. The running back position is loaded with expensive studs who will be worth every penny. While Freeman notched only six carries for 6 yards last week against the Rams, he's scored at least 21.7 DK points in two of the past three games. San Francisco is horrendous against the running game. Freeman and Tevin Coleman will be great additions to your DFS roster this week. With Matt Forte's injury early in the Week 14 matchup, Bilal Powell earned 145 rushing yards and two TDs on 29 carries. Opposing backs have tallied more than 100 rushing yards, scored a TD, or both against the 49ers in 12 straight games.

WR: Tyreek Hill, Chiefs ($5,700)

Kansas City is making a strong effort at getting Hill the ball recently. He's received at least six targets in three straight games and at least 20.1 DK points in four of the past seven games. As for his opponent, the Titans have struggled against opposing wide receivers this season. Both Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas surpassed the 100-yard mark last week. Before that, Marquess Wilson tallied 125 yards and a TD against Tennessee. Even if Jeremy Maclin returns, Hill will be the best option for the Chiefs and he will find ways to get his touches.

TE: Charles Clay, Bills ($2,800)

Much like how I always will suggest to start the running back facing the 49ers, I also will recommend the tight end facing the Browns (yes, I've moved on from the Lions). Opposing tight ends have scored five TDs in the past five games against Cleveland. Last week, Clay turned a catch into a 40-yard TD. Also, he's priced so low that you'll be able to continue to invest in skill position players. Win-win!

D/ST: Atlanta Falcons ($3,900)

I'm not going to overthink this decision. The best options for your DFS defense are the most expensive ones: Atlanta, Houston, and Buffalo. The Falcons recorded 26 DK points last week against the Rams and haven't allowed more than 19 points in a game in two of the past three matchups. San Francisco hasn't scored more than 20 points in four of the past five games.
