In most pick up games, team captains alternate choices until they build their squad. Since Michael Jordan is arguably the best to ever do it, I guess he has the right to take all of his picks to fill his roster first. Watching the interview where he selects his unbeatable starting five, I figured I should step up to the challenge and build my squad... Jordan, Pippen, Worthy, Magic Johnson and Olajuwon!

When thinking of opponents, its hard to image facing that five. It would be a game for the ages.

My first pick would be Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, 7-foot-2, with the unstoppable Skyhook.

Next up, myself!  How could I sit and watch this game from the sidelines? I would love to get in there and mix it up with these guys.

At the three, Larry Bird. He's got leadership, toughness and an outside shot to help spread the floor.

Kobe Bryant come on down, the debate always happens, and here is where it would play out.

At the one, my curve ball would be Lebron James. He's big enough to match up with Magic, and you can't deny his talent.  

If I had some space on the bench, I'd have Shaq and Reggie Miller ready to go.

While this may only ever happen in simulation or NBA2K, it is definitely fun to think about.
