Pete Carroll was back on the USC campus Wednesday night for a speaking engagement.

He talked about the good ol' days at USC, Reggie Bush, and a bunch of other topics.

The highlight of the night, however, was when Will Ferrell crashed the event and kicked a football into the upper deck ... with Carroll holding.
