Rutgers football has suffered some brutal takedowns recently, being devoured by Ohio State and Michigan to the tune of 136-0 this season.
Life isn't any easier if you are the mascot for the Scarlet Knights, according to NJ.com.
In order to fire up the folks for wrestling season, Rutgers set up a practice outside High Point Solutions Stadium in Piscataway before Saturday's football game with Illinois.
Associate head wrestling coach Donny Pritzlaff put on quite a show, throwing the mascot around the way Big Ten teams have been flipping the football team.
Rutgers wrestling fares better than Scarlet Knights football. The team went 16-5 last season.
Next year, it will face Maryland at Yankee Stadium as the schools put on a football-wrestling doubleheader.
