Washington owner offers replacement hats for Caps fans at Wild game
The Washington Capitals owner is rewarding several Minnesota fans for the goodwill they showed toward star Alex Ovechkin on Thursday.
Owner Ted Leonsis offered on Twitter to replace the hats fans threw onto the Xcel Energy Center ice after Overchkin collected his 14th career hat trick.

Ovechkin scored all three of his goals in the second period, helping the Capitals to a 4-3 win over the Wild in St. Paul, Minn.
The Capitals lead the NHL with 84 points and a 40-9-4 record.
