War of words firing off between the Blue Jays and Indians

There is the battle between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Cleveland Indians on the field in the American League Championship Series then there is a battle going on off the field. On Twitter.

Some fans and TV pundits have called out the Tribe on Twitter after the Indians have taken a 2-0 lead in the ALCS and as the series shifts to Toronto. One fan in particular called out the Indians' breakout third baseman Jose Ramirez when he tweeted at Ramirez stating "All your fans are bandwagon fans" then deleting the tweet but not before Ramirez could respond with a quip of his own.

Then former MLB pitcher and current MLB Network analyst Dan Plesac thinks he still likes the Blue Jays in the best of seven series despite the Indians being up 2-0.

But Carlos Santana answered back and thinks differently.

There is also a story cropping up around Blue Jays' slugger Jose Bautista's comments about the "circumstances" working against the Blue Jays and how the Indians' pitching staff has stifled the Blue Jays' power lineup so far.

The Indians' Twitter account threw some shade on the "circumstances" comment:

It's never easy for Cleveland. Nothing is given here, everything is earned. As the saying goes: "Cleveland against the World."
