Walker's game-winner gets Hornets back on track in Indy
The Hornets just narrowly avoided a second-straight loss as some late heroics by their star point guard helped pull out a much-needed 96-95 road win over the Pacers on Friday, Feb. 26, in Indianapolis. After allowing Indiana to erase a 14-point third-quarter deficit and take a one-point lead with 16 seconds remaining in the game, Kemba Walker drove nearly the entire length of the court for a game-winning layup with two seconds left to notch a vital season-series-clinching win for Charlotte. Marvin Williams finished with a team-high 26 points for the Hornets while Paul George paved the way for Indiana with a game-high 32 points in the loss.
