Wales forced into late change vs Pumas after prop injured
SAN JUAN, Argentina (AP) Wales was forced to make a late change to its lineup facing Argentina on Saturday when loosehead prop Wyn Jones hurt his calf in training and was ruled out of the tour.
Rob Evans was promoted on Friday from the reserves to a start, and Nicky Smith brought in to the reserves.
The Pumas are virtually the Jaguares side which beat the Sharks two weeks ago in Super Rugby. The only change in the match 15 is the return of flanker Pablo Matera from a left shoulder injury for Tomas Lezana, who was in the reserves.
The Pumas ought to be full of confidence after six straight wins as the Jaguares, including an unbeaten tour of Australia and New Zealand.
Winger Bautista Delguy will make his Pumas debut, and so could reserve props Javier Diaz and Santiago Medrano.
Argentina hasn't beaten Wales since 2012, and not at home since 2006, on Wales' last visit.
