Vin Scully honored at Dodgers game

It has been quite the week for the Scully family.

On Sunday, legendary broadcaster Vin Scully announced he would return for his 64th season calling Dodgers baseball.

On Thursday, the Dodgers hosted Vin Scully Bobblehead Night with the 84-year-old throwing out the ceremonial first pitch with help from his grandkids.

Scully took the mound and went into a wind-up before stopping, walking to the third-base line where his grandkids were lined up and handing the ball to them. The children relayed the ball down the line before handing it back to Scully, who flipped the ball into the glove of Dodgers manager Don Mattingly.

In addition, Scully's granddaughter Mackenzie Luderer sang the national anthem and “God Bless America," and members of the Scully family officially started the game with “It’s Time for Dodger Baseball."
