Vikings Snap Counts: Passing game not what it might have seemed

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford turned in a solid stat line against the Dallas Cowboys, throwing for 247 yards and a touchdown, but the overall numbers don't look great for their anemic passing game.

Bradford attempted a season-high 45 passes, completing 32 of them for an average of just 5.49 yards per attempt.

It was his second-lowest average of the season as the Vikings struggled to move the ball down the field.

Bradford's longest pass went for 25 yards, while he completed just five passes that went for more than 10 yards.

A questionable pass interference call negated a 31-yard strike to Cordarrelle Patterson on what would have been their longest passing play of the game.

Check out some additional observations from the game below:

-- Left tackle T.J. Clemmings committed three penalties, and was nearly hit with a fourth following an uncalled false start on the Vikings' attempted 2-point conversion.

-- Cris Collinsworth roasted rookie Laquon Treadwell after the receiver ran the wrong route in the fourth quarter, failing to turn back towards the play on third down. Treadwell appeared in just 11 (15 percent) offensive plays a week after being on the field for 34 (58 percent) plays.

-- Charles Johnson saw his highest percentage of the Vikings' offensive snaps since Week 3. He was targeted five times and made three catches for 36 yards.

-- It was a tough day for Harrison Smith, who allowed a 56-yard reception to Dez Bryant and was later seen using crutches with his left foot in a walking boot.

-- Danielle Hunter, who played 32 (62 percent) of the snaps on defense, had another strong game, racking up two sacks and three tackles.

-- Running back Jerick McKinnon was in on a season-high 69 percent of the offensive plays.

-- Anthony Harris got in on one snap on defense, just the fourth time he's appeared on D this season and the first time since the eighth game of the season against Detroit.
