Vikings sign wide receiver Tavarres King
The Minnesota Vikings further bolstered their wide receiver depth on Thursday, signing 27-year-old Tavarres King.
King played the last two seasons with the New York Giants and compiled 20 receptions for 290 yards during his time there. His other two career NFL receptions came in 2014 with Tampa Bay.
Selected in the fifth round of the 2013 draft by Denver, King has also spent time with Carolina and Jacksonville.
The best game of his career came against the Green Bay Packers on Jan. 8, 2017, when he caught three passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in the wild-card round of the playoffs.
It's the second move general manager Rick Spielman has made to improve his receiving corps after signing Kendall Wright last week.
