Vikings sign 17 undrafted free agents

The Minnesota Vikings didn't waste much time after the NFL draft, as the team announced Monday it agreed to terms with 17 undrafted free agents.

Among those 17 players is wide receiver Jake Wieneke, a native of Maple Grove, Minn. In his four-year career at South Dakota State, Wieneke became the all-time Missouri Valley Conference and SDSU program leader in receptions (288), receiving yards (5,157) and receiving touchdowns (59).

Three undrafted free agents signed after last year's draft made the Vikings' 53-man roster for their season-opening game against New Orleans in Week 1 of 2017: defensive end Tashawn Bower, linebacker Eric Wilson and tackle Aviante Collins.
