Valencia set to sell Otamendi to Man City but want Mangala in return

Each day we'll bring you the very latest tabloid rumors as the biggest clubs around look to splash the cash to bolster their rosters. True or not, they're always entertaining...

Tottenham are set to make a £15million offer for West Brom striker Saido Berahino after offloading Roberto Soldado to Villarreal.

Spurs are closing on the signing of Lyon forward Clinton N'Jie, who can play anywhere across the front three, but Mauricio Pochettino still wants further competition and support for Harry Kane in the central striker's position.

Berahino is said to be the Argentine's top target, and although they are not hopeful of Albion accepting their opening offer, Spurs are said to be confident of landing the 22-year-old for around the £20million mark.

Spurs will knock back any approach from Juventus for Christian Eriksen.

Valencia are willing to sell Nicolas Otamendi to Manchester City this summer - but they want Eliaquim Mangala in return.

City paid £32million to sign Mangala from Porto 12 months ago, but he has so far failed to justify the hefty price tag.

Valencia's interest in the France international may tempt City, therefore, providing they can fight off likely interest from Manchester United to land Otamendi. The 27-year-old has asked not to be included in Valencia's Champions League play-off against Monaco in order to avoid being cup-tied.

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has long been linked with a move to White Hart Lane, and the Daily Mirror claims Spurs are now preparing a bid for him.

Palace chairman Steve Parish is apparently trying to balance the books after the club's summer spending and would be tempted by a £25million bid, the tabloid claims.

Bolasie himself, meanwhile, is said to be keen on a move to Spurs if a deal can be struck.

Manchester United are haggling with Barcelona over the £21.3million buyout clause in Pedro's contract at the Nou Camp.

The newspaper claims United have made an initial offer of £17.7million plus £3.6million in add-ons for the Spaniard, who wants to leave the Nou Camp this summer to gain more first-team football.

United are taking a risk haggling, however, as Manchester City are said to be monitoring the situation and are willing to match his buyout clause, presumably if their long-term efforts to sign Kevin De Bruyne from Wolfsburg fail.

Tottenham insist Denmark international midfielder Christian Eriksen will be staying at White Hart Lane following interest from Serie A champions Juventus.

Championship outfit Fulham are lining up a £8million offer plus add-ons for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle.

Arsenal have reportedly bid £45m for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema and the France international forward is keen on a move to north London.

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri's persistence looks to have paid off in a bid bring Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler to the club.
