UW football adds second primetime game
MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin's football team has added another primetime game to its 2013 schedule.
On Monday, the Big Ten Network announced Wisconsin would play at Illinois on Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. CT in a contest televised by BTN. Last week, it was revealed Wisconsin's Sept. 28 game at Ohio State would be in primetime and televised by ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC. Wisconsin now has multiple primetime games for the seventh consecutive season.
This will mark the first night game in the Wisconsin-Illinois series, which dates back to 1895. The all-time series between the teams is tied, 36-36-7, but the Badgers have won seven of the last eight games. UW has won six of the last eight meetings in Champaign, dating back to 1993.
Overall, Wisconsin is 37-25 in night games. The Badgers are 31-6 in their last 37 games at night.
