UTEP dominates 63-49 win over Old Dominion

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- John Bohannon scored 19 points and Julian Washburn finished with 18 as UTEP secured its seventh-straight conference victory, 63-49 over Old Dominion on Saturday night.

Bohannon shot 6 of 7 from the floor while Washburn hit all three of UTEP's 3-pointers. The Miners (18-6, 8-1 Conference-USA) led all the way after a 2-2 tie to start the game, and were up by 10 points at the half. Washburn opened up the second half by scoring the first six UTEP points, and the team shot 48.7 from the floor.

Old Dominion (11-13, 5-4) saw every player score and got 21 points from its bench, with Keenan Palmore and Ambrose Mosley leading the Monarchs with eight points each. Old Dominion grabbed 12 more offensive boards than the Miners after shooting just 25.5 percent from the floor.

UTEP entered the game second in the Conference-USA behind Southern Miss.
