Utah receives apology cupcakes from magazine that called it 'cupcake game' for Michigan
"College football season gets underway tonight with the University of Michigan in a cupcake game against Utah," reads the blurb for Sept. 3 in Popular Mechanics magazine's recent monthly calendar.
But there's only so much a writer/editor can say in a tiny blurb (been there), and now Popular Mechanics is saying sorry:
Indeed, there's nothing a plate of cupcakes can't repair. Besides, the shot made for good bulletin-board fodder.
