USA Hockey made a funny mistake while picking Olympic team

The U.S. Olympic men's hockey team was announced Wednesday after the NHL Winter Classic at Michigan Stadium.

And we almost had a 67-year-old Canadian guy on the team.

Wait, what?

Allow TSN's Gord Miller to explain:

Ryan Kesler, who plays center for the Vancouver Canucks, ended up making the team. Thankfully the old Canadian guy will not be on the squad, but we do like his sense of humor about it all.
