UA moves opener against NAU to Aug. 30

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona announced Saturday's that football season opener against Northern Arizona, originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 31, has been moved to Friday, Aug. 30.
 
The Wildcats and Lumberjacks will kick of at either 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m., with television selection and official start times to be announced by the Pac-12 Conference in June.

The change does not affect any of the other games on the schedule; Arizona will host six home games and play six on the road in 2013, with a trip to UNLV following the NAU game and a home game against Texas-San Antonio concluding nonconference play.
 
Arizona State previously moved its season opener against Sacramento State from Saturday, Sept. 7, to Thursday, Sept. 5.
