Ty Rattie returns to Blues organization on waivers

ST. LOUIS -- After a short stint with the Carolina Hurricanes, forward Ty Rattie is back in the St. Louis Blues organization, though he'll be playing in the AHL rather than in St. Louis.

Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Sunday that the Blues have claimed forward Ty Rattie off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes. Rattie will report to the club's AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.

Rattie, who was first claimed off waivers by the Hurricanes on January 4, appeared in five games and posted two assists during his stint in Carolina. Overall, the 6-foot, 185-pound forward has dressed in 35 career NHL games, logging 10 points (four goals, six assists) and six penalty minutes. The 24-year-old forward has also played in 196 career AHL games, accumulating 137 points (69 goals, 68 assists) and 77 penalty minutes.
