Twins trim spring training roster to 52 players
The Minnesota Twins trimmed their camp roster to 52 players Friday, assigning pitchers Andrew Vazquez, Lewis Thorpe and Kohl Stewart to Triple-A Rochester.
Outfielders Alex Kirilloff, Brent Rooker and Luke Raley, as well as catcher Ben Rortvedt, were assigned to minor-league camp.
One of the Twins' top prospects, Kirilloff had two hits Friday in a game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Rooker and Raley each went 0-for-2.
