Twins place Robinson on emergency list, activate Hicks off DL
The Minnesota Twins on Friday played outfielder Shane Robinson on the Family Emergency List and activated outfielder Aaron Hicks from the 15-day disabled list.
Hicks missed 19 games with a right forearm strain. He had been on a rehab assignment at Triple-A Rochester where he was 8 for 23, including a pair of three-hit performances in his last two games. With the Twins this season, Hicks is batting .247 with a .293 on-base percentage and .301 slugging percentage in 28 games. He also has six steals in seven attempts.
Robinson has played 50 games for Minnesota, batting 250/303/313 and is 5 for 6 on steal attempts.
