USC closed its 2017 National Signing Day class with a furious rally.

On Saturday, Bishop Gorman's Palaie Gaoteote pledged his services to the Trojans for their Class of 2018.

Gaeteote, who had offers from nearly every college football powerhouse, is the No. 1 outside linebacker in the country.

During Gorman's run to a state and national title in 2016, Gaeteote had 11.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.
