Triple-double burger headlines Wolves' new concessions menu
The Minnesota Timberwolves have announced a few new additions to their roster for the rest of the 2015-16 campaign and beyond.
The new additions to the lineup all bring something unique to the table.
The Timberwolves on Wednesday announced more than two dozen new food items that will be available at Target Center concession stands, as well as the launch of the Made in Minny campaign that focuses on sourcing as many Minnesota-made food and beverage items as possible.
The new concessions additions include a variety of five new burgers, including a monstrous triple-double burger that includes five beef patties. All the burger patties are locally sourced. The menu also features several new panini sandwiches, including the Wiggy Wich, named after Wolves star Andrew Wiggins, which features toasted Nutella and marshmallow with '22' branded into the bread.
Some new, lighter concessions items have been added, too, such as garden salads and fruit medley cups.
Fans will get a chance to sample some of the new menu items as they enter the Target Center before home games this season. A full list of new menu items with descriptions is available at www.TargetCtrEats.com.
