Trinniberg romps in Swale Stakes

Trinniberg won the $150,000 Swale Stakes at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, beating 45-1 long shot Hello Prince by six lengths.

Trinniberg was making his first start since a disappointing seventh-place finish in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint at Churchill Downs. With Willie Martinez aboard, he ran seven furlongs on a fast track in 1 minute, 21:69 seconds and returned $17.20 for a $2 win bet.

Favored Ever So Lucky was third in the field of 10 3-year-olds.

Trinniberg is owned by Shivananda Parbhoo and trained by Parboo's father, Bisnath.
