Tony Romo joins Twitter, begins campaign sharing single digit

Leaving the small huddle of high-profile athletes yet to join Twitter, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo made his debut Thursday night with a single digit.

Romo left 139 characters on the table but there's still plenty of interest in what he may have to say: The QB has attracted 45,000 followers since first posting and 3,000 in the past nine minutes that it's taken to me to write an entire post about, essentially, a single digit.

Later in the day, Romo was at it again, tweeting his thoughts on the Dez Bryant catch/no-catch controversy.
