The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived veteran guard John Lucas III. The Timberwolves roster now stands at 14 players.

Lucas III originally signed with the Wolves on August 24, 2016, and appeared in five games this season while averaging 0.4 points in 2.2 minutes per contest. He is the son of former NBA player and coach John Lucas.
