Timberwolves television ratings continue to rise

Monday night’s Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Cleveland Cavilers telecast on FOX Sports North registered a 3.95 HH rating, making it the third most-watched game so far this season and bumping the team’s overall ratings average up, yet again.

Minnesota Timberwolves ratings on FOX Sports North are currently 66 percent higher (through 40 games) compared to this time last season, with “Wolves Live” ratings up 135 percent. The current ratings are on pace to be the highest they’ve been since the 2011-12 season.

In the Minneapolis-St. Paul market, 17,300 households represent one Nielsen rating point. That means more than 68,300 households tuned in for Monday evening’s game.

FOX Sports North will televise Wednesday’s Wolves matchup with the Thunder. Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. with Wolves Live, presented by CenturyLink. Minnesota Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen will join the broadcast team as a guest analyst.
