Thunder sign guard Anthony Morrow

Oklahoma City made it official on Wednesday, signing shooting guard Anthony Morrow.

Morrow was fourth in the league on 3-pointers last season, shooting 45.1 percent. He averaged 8.4 points and played in a career-high 76 games. Morrow was an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech. As a rookie, he led the NBA in 3-point percentage. He's been in the league for six seasons.

"Anthony Morrow has demonstrated that he is amongst the most consistent and efficient three point shooters in the NBA over his career, and we are pleased to welcome him to Oklahoma City and the Thunder organization," OKC general manager Sam Presti said.  "With his body of work, we feel Anthony is a unique addition to a diverse roster, while also possessing the toughness and selflessness that we are consistently seeking in Thunder players."

Morrow is expected to come off the bench to help a Thunder team that finished 14th in 3-point shooting a season ago. The Thunder lost shooting guard Thabo Sefolosha and no longer have guard Derek Fisher.
