Thunder acquire draft rights to Jerrett

In addition to their three draft picks Thursday night, the Thunder also acquired the draft rights to Grant Jerrett.

Jerrett was selected No. 40 overall by Portland. Oklahoma City traded with the Trail Blazers and gave up cash considerations for the 6-foot-10, 235 Jerrett, who played one season at Arizona.

Oklahoma City used its No. 12 pick on Steven Adams of Pitt. Adams, a 7-foot center, who played one season for the Panthers and averaged 7.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks.

The Thunder also picked up Andre Roberson at the No. 26 spot, moving up three spots after trading with Minnesota and Golden State. Roberson was the Pac-12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year after averaging 9.6 points and 10.0 rebounds per game for his career.

Oklahoma City also picked up Alex Abrines (6-6, 190 pounds) from Spain.He played the past season playing for F.C. Barcelona in Spain’s ACB League where he averaged 3.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 11.0 minutes per game. Additionally, Abrines saw action in 13 Euroleague games this past year where he posted averages of 5.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game.
