Teams finalize blockbuster deal for No. 2 pick

ST. LOUIS (AP) The St. Louis Rams finalized a trade with the Washington Redskins for the second overall pick in this year's draft that gives them three first-rounders.

St. Louis gets Washington's sixth overall pick and the Redskins' second-rounder, the 39th overall, plus the Redskins' first-round picks in 2013 and 2014.

The Rams had the sixth pick in 1998 and 1999, taking defensive end Grant Wistrom and Torry Holt, players who were instrumental in the franchise's Super Bowl title in 2000.

Washington is expected to select Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III, the Heisman Trophy winner, with the No. 2 choice in next month's draft.
