Tampa Bay signs '07 draft pick Alex Killorn

The Tampa Bay Lightning signed forward Alex Killorn to a two-year entry-level deal on Monday, officially bringing their third-round pick from the 2007 NHL Entry Draft into the fold.
Killorn's contract is a two-way deal that would allow him to play for Tampa's AHL affiliate in Norfolk, Virginia.

Killorn, 22, completed his collegiate career at Harvard on Saturday night, when the Crimson lost to Union (N.Y.) in the finals of the ECAC Hockey playoffs, missing out on an NCAA tournament berth. In 34 games during his senior season, Killorn recorded career highs with 23 goals and 23 assists, and was named to the All-League First Team.

The 5-foot-9 center was the 77th overall selection in the 2007 draft. In 130 career games at Harvard, Killorn scored 53 goals and recorded 56 assists.
