Swope catches 'world's longest TD pass'
Who needs the NFL Combine when you have YouTube?
Former Texas A&M wide receiver Ryan Swope, along with trick shot god Dude Perfect, have put together a video that is even more impressive than Swope's 4.34 40-yard dash time.
The video is an effort to help Swope land the cover of EA Sports' NCAA Football 14 video game.
Swope starts the video by catch five nearly 50-yard passes ... without dropping a single ball.
The stunts get crazier from there, including firing a football from a Jug passing machine 50-yards through a basketball hoop to standing ten feet in front of a tennis ball launcher and catching balls with his hands.
Swope and Dude Perfect complete the "world's longest touchdown pass" in the video. Both start in the upper deck end zone seats at Kyle Field. Swope then runs the stairs all the way down to field level (which is a LONG way as anybody who has been to Kyle Field can attest to). Dude Perfect then throws the ball from the upper deck, which Swope catches at field level.
It has to be seen to be believed.
And if any NFL out there is looking for a receiver who can catch an egg being dropped from the top of a football stadium, Swope is your guy.
