Sun Sports announces encore schedule for 8 Rays games

TAMPA, Fla. -- FOX'€™s Sun Sports announced the schedule for Tampa Bay Rays 2013 encore games. From walk-off home runs to masterful pitching performances, Rays fans can tune in to relive the excitement of Rays baseball in anticipation of spring training. The games are scheduled to air statewide on Sun Sports on Fridays at 8 p.m. for eight consecutive weeks. The encore presentations will begin on Friday, Jan. 10 and air every Friday through Feb. 28 on the statewide television home of the Rays.

Airdate: Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, 8 p.m.
Game: June 24, vs. Toronto Blue Jays
Outfielder Wil Myers hits a home run in his Tropicana Field debut and the Rays go back-to-back-to-back en route to a 4-1 victory.

Airdate: Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, 8 p.m.
Game: July 2, at Houston Astros
In his first start off the disabled list, pitcher David Price strikes out 10 in a Rays shut out win.

Game: July 27, at New York Yankees
Pitcher Chris Archer was on top of his game throwing a two-hit shutout at Yankee Stadium.

Game: Aug. 3, vs. San Francisco Giants
A giant pitcher€™s duel between David Price and Tim Lincecum ends with a walk-off win courtesy of Wil Myers.

Airdate: Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, 8 p.m.
Game: Sept. 20, vs. Baltimore Orioles
A cut-down version of the 18 inning marathon, fans won'€™t want to miss this one as a walk-off hit wins it for Tampa Bay and pitcher Jeremy Hellickson earns the victory as a reliever.

Airdate: Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, 8 p.m.
Game: Sept. 23, vs. Baltimore Orioles
First baseman James Loney goes yard with a walk-off homer to beat Baltimore 5-4 and keep the Rays alive in the playoff race.

Airdate: Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, 8 p.m.
Game: Sept. 29, at Toronto Blue Jays
The final game of the regular season ends with a Rays win assuring them of Game 163.
