Sun Devils sink 16 3-pointers in rout of Ducks

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Seniors Rihards Kuksiks and Ty Abbott scored 22 points apiece in their next-to-last home game, and Arizona State sank 16 of 36 3-pointers to beat Oregon for the second time this season, 73-53 on Thursday night.
The last-place Sun Devils (11-18, 3-14) set season highs in 3-point makes and attempts. Kuksiks made a season-high seven 3s in 15 tries, while Abbott was 6 of 12 from long-range for Arizona State, which has won its last two home games and two of four overall after nine straight Pac-10 losses.
Jay-R Strowbridge scored 17 points for the Ducks (14-15, 7-10) in their third loss in a row.
Arizona State finished the game with a 22-8 run after Oregon had cut the lead to 51-45 with nine minutes to play.
