Subway Series: What did Mets give Jeter for his Farewell Tour?

With Derek Jeter playing his final career game against the crosstown rival New York Mets on Thursday — unless of course, the two New York teams meet in the World Series — it was time for more farewell gifts.

The Mets donated $22,222.22 to Jeter's Turn 2 Foundation and presented the Yankees shortstop with a piece of artwork with the No. 2 made out of subway tiles. They also gave him a very cool looking cake that featured two subway cars.

Despite Jeter's 0-for-4 outing on Thursday night, the Yankees win the final game of the 2014 Subway Series 1-0.

For a New Yorker, this certainly beats the paddleboard that the Angels gave Jeter earlier this season.
